Mildred M. Henneberry, age 87 of Ludington passed away Thursday October 03, 2013 at Tendercare of Ludington Nursing Home.
Mildred “Millie” in her younger years worked as a nanny, a secretary for the railroad, then married John L. Henneberry and became a homemaker and proud mother of six children. Her interests were painting art, making pottery and she bought and sold real estate.
Surviving are her three sons: Robert, Brian, Phillip; and daughter-in-law Anita; her two daughters: Sharon and Theresa; additionally five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and elder son Charles.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Ludington, Michigan on Wednesday, October 09, 2013 from 11:00-1:00 PM. Burial will take place at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Clinton, Indiana.

Rochelle Joy Mahn, age 55 of Zeeland and formerly of Ludington passed away on Saturday October 5, 2013 in Fruitport.

She was born on May 15, 1958 in Ludington, daughter of Bradley and Darlene (Jensen) Lange.
Rochelle is survived by her daughter; Julie Moore of Fruitport; son, Doug Mahn of Borculo; 2 grandchildren; Brandon Paul and Zoe Moore; father and step-mother; Bradley and Adaline Lange; 2 sisters; brother; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother Darlene Lange.

A celebration of life gathering for Rochelle will be held from 1:00PM until 3:00PM on Tuesday October 8, 2013 at Oak Grove Funeral Home, 3060 West U.S. 10, Ludington. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Township Cemetery in Branch.

Debra Jane Wooll, age 62 of Marion, died Wednesday morning October 2, 2013 at her home.

She was born June 20, 1951 in Mount Pleasant the daughter of the late Wesley Huntley and Donna J. (Lennox) Nolte. She attended Marion High School. On August 12, 1967, Debra married Gary K. Wooll at the Nazarene Church in Temple. She was a member of the Marion F.O.E. 4087 Auxiliary.

Debra is survived by her husband of 46 years, Gary K. Wooll; daughters, Barbara G. (Doug) Russell and Jennifer J. (Rick) McQuestion; son, David K. (Barbara) Wooll; brothers, Wesley (Nancy) Huntley, Rodney D. (Jenalle) Huntley, Larry O. (Terri) Bonham; sisters, Delsie (Floyd) Brooks, Betty J. Dalaney, Bonnie S. (Larry) Pittaway; mother-in-law, Viola Wooll; sisters-in-law, Gail King, Connie (Mike) Marr, Cindy (Ron) Kogler, Shelly (Richard) Russell and Julie Bonham. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, Joshua Wooll, Cameron Wooll, Sidney Wooll, Kayla Park, Jarrin Russell, Ethan Russell, Ryan McQuestion, Cason Rawson, Colten Rawson; and 1 great-granddaughter, Jazmyne Berube.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by brother, Gary R. Bonham; father-in-law, Norman K. Wooll; and great-grandson, Devin K. Wooll.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 12th at the Marion F.O.E. #4087 Club. Final interment will be in Story Cemetery in Marion.

Theresa Michelle Grimes age 37 of Walhalla, passed away on October 7, 2013. She was born October 24, 1975 in Niles, MI daughter of Alan Miller and Cindy Carpenter.

She graduated from Mason County Central High School and received an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Development from West Shore Community College. Theresa married Andy Grimes on August 11, 2007 in Freesoil, MI. She owned and operated the Little Country Daycare for the past 7 years. Theresa was a member of Crossroads Church and enjoyed football, fishing, reading, sun bathing, riding motorcycles, her flowers and spending time with her children and family.

Theresa is survived by her husband: Andy Grimes, children: Autumn and Zach Richardson, Annabelle, Stephanie, and Kaylee Grimes, her brothers: Josh and Jake Carpenter, Ricky Horton and Jeremy Miller along with her parents Cindy and Aaron Carpenter.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday October 18, 2013 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Ludington, MI with a prayer being prayed at 12:45 pm by Pastor Richard Chasse.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for her children’s college funds.

David M. Keough age 51 of Ludington, passed away on October 13, 2013 at Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital. He was born June 26, 1962 son of Dennis Keough and Judith (Berry) Holbert.

He graduated from Pueblo East High School in Pueblo Colorado and married Maureen Francis on February 17, 1989 in Marquette, MI. David was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and was active in the organization for many years.

David is survived by his wife; Maureen Keough, children: Grant and Emily Keough, his parents: Dennis and Lena Keough and eight siblings.

He is preceded in death by his mother; Judith Holbert and grandfather: Charles Keough.

A memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday October 20, 2013 at Lakeside Chapel in Ludington with Verne Kenney elder of the church officiating. The family will receive friends at the church for visitation from 10:00 am until the time of service.

William John Loforte age 59 of Ludington, passed away on October 18, 2013 at home with his family at his side after a courageous sixteen month battle with brain cancer. He was born March 9, 1954 in Passaic, NJ; son of John and Dorothy (Moore) Loforte.
He graduated in 1972 from Cicero High School in NY and went on to attend Paul Smith’s College in Paul Smith’s, NY graduating in 1974 with an Associate’s Degree in Forestry. He married Alison J. Stafford on June 6, 1981 in Amherst, NY at the Faith United Church of Christ. William was employed at Whitehall Industries as a machine operator and also worked as a personnel manager for Mason County Fruit Packers. He was a member of the Ludington Landlord Association, served on the City Planning Commission and attended St. John’s Lutheran Church. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, and enjoyed buying rental properties and fixing them up.
William is survived by his wife Alison Loforte of Ludington: daughters: Michelle Loforte of Ludington; Amy (fiance-Cale Kanouse) Loforte of Jackson, MI; brothers: Robert (Bonnie) Loforte of Mexico, NY; James (Beth) Loforte of Farmington, NY; sister: Lenore (Joseph) Ward of Indianapolis, IN; his father: John Loforte of Leesburg, FL; mother and father-in-law: John and Patricia Stafford of Ludington, MI; sister and brother-in-law: Carrie and Reggie Vickers of Norwood, CO along with aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother: Dorothy Loforte, aunts, uncles and his favorite dog Josie.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday October 23, 2013 at St. John’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Thomas Boehne officiating. The family will receive friends at the church for visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service with a luncheon to follow after.
