Anthony William “Tony” Sprader, age 72 of Manistee, died Thursday evening September 25, 2014 at his home. He was born July 11, 1942 in Detroit, the son of Joseph and Elizabeth (Galwas) Sprader. He attended St. Agatha Catholic School in Detroit. On April 25, 1987, Tony married Lynn Allen in Livonia. He was employed as a cold header in automotive parts production in the Detroit area. They moved to Manistee in 1987 and he worked as a custodian at the Manistee Intermediate School; retiring in 2002. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and motorcycling. He is survived by his wife Lynn Sprader, four brothers, two sisters, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister. Cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time.
