Sara Stubbs Perez, Age 46 of Scottville died Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. She was born on July 11, 1968 in Ludington the daughter of William & Laura (Jones) Stubbs. She was a l986 graduate of Ludington High School and was currently attending the University of Phoenix. She married Roger Webb Perez, Sr. on September 27, 2008 at the Scottville United Methodist Church. Sara was employed as a gardener at the Orchard Market in Free Soil. She enjoyed crafts, reading, her kids, her dog, camping, floating the river, fishing, and her most favorite place – the beach. She is survived by her husband; Roger Perez, Sr. of Scottville, her children; Daniel (Heather) Shoup of Grand Rapids, Codie (Amber) Fink & Callie Fink both of Scottville, step-children; Samantha (Levi) Hawes , Roger Perez, Jr., & Wyatt Perez all of Fremont, and Veronica Perez of Scottville, grandchildren; Aiden Perez and Serenity Hawes, her parents; William & Laura Stubbs of Ludington, brothers; Jesse (Micah) Stubbs and David (Anita) Stubbs, father & mother-In-Law; Roy T. (Debra) Perez of Custer, brothers-in-law; Roy L. Perez, Jr, Robert L. Perez, Richard W. Perez, & Rocky W. Perez, sister-in-law; Casey M. Perez, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents; William & Frances Stubbs, maternal grandparents; Morris & Florence Phipps of Abergavenny South Wales, and a niece Delilah Hope Perez. Memorial Services for Sara Stubbs Perez will be held Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Ludington with Reverend Robert Hope officiating.
