Gerry Ann Wilson Davenport, age 36, of Williamsburg, passed away suddenly on Nov. 29, 2015 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. She was born on May 2, 1979 in Clare. She graduated from Elk Rapids schools in 1997, where she was in band also a cheerleader. Gerry was a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians as she participated in Pow Wows and enjoyed Native American Beadworking. She is survived by her husband, Nick; and her son, Skylar Davenport. Also surviving are her parents, Jim and Shelly Wilson; two brothers, James and Jerome Wilson; one sister, Susan Wilson; many aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; and cousins. She was preceded in death by a son, Alexander Davenport; grandparents, Arvid and Gladys Wilson; and James and Virginia Belonga. Service will be held at Circle Hill Cemetery, Vinton Road, Williamsburg, MI on Thursday, Dec. 3, at 3 p.m. Harlan Downwind will officiate.
