Donna Faye King age 88 of Ludington passed away on November 14, 2015 at Mercy Health-Muskegon. Prior to her death she had recently moved in with daughter Diane (Homer) Hawley. Donna was born on June 1, 1927 in Middletown, OH to the late Ernest and Mildred (Hollon) Coulter. In September of 2000 Donna married Clarence King. She was the owner of Wildon Woodworking and also several apartments in the area. From 1993-2012 Donna spent her winters in Lakeland, Florida. Donna was a member of Zonta Club, 57 year member of United Methodist Church, also United Methodist Church Rug ladies, United Methodist Women, and a member of Bethany Methodist Church 8 o’clock Circle. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing cards, working board games, doing crossword puzzles and was a Librarian at Franklin Elementary during her children’s years and took part in the PTA. Donna is survived by her son, Clarence Joseph King Jr.; daughter, Terri (Stuart) Wissner, Grace Roeder, Diane (Homer) Delbarker-Hawley; 9 grandchildren, Jason and Jeremy (Tracie) King, Derek Wissner, Stephanie (Eric) Quinn, Kevin Wissner, Josh Delbarker, Jeff Delbarker, Jordan Hawley and Hannah Hawley; 6 great-grandchildren and sister, Jayne (Jack) Achberger. She was preceded in death by her parents. Cremation has taken place and per Donna’s request, no services are planned. Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery of Ludington. Memorial contributions may be directed to Lakeshore Animal Friends, Hospitality Inc. of Ludington and United Methodist Church.
