Walter Henry Fargo, age 86 of Ludington passed away on November 2, 2015 at Tendercare of Ludington. Walter was born on February 25, 1929 in Frankfort to the late Earl Walter and Bernice Grace (Stubbs) Fargo. He attended Pere Marquette School in Ludington. On June 19, 1948 Walter married Edna Louise Phillips at Washington Avenue Baptist Church in Ludington. He was employed at American Laundry, Carrom Company, and Handy Things. Walter was a member of Bachelor Evangelical Covenant Church. Walter enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, camping, working on cars or anything else that needed repairs. Walter is survived by his wife Edna Louise Fargo; brothers, John (Carol) Fargo, Harry Fargo; daughters, Lucinda (Pastor Richard) Roberts, Rhonda (John Newberry) Fargo; son, Richard (Brandy Moran) Fargo; granddaughters, Laura (Larry) Souders, Julie Modrok, Rachelle Modrok, Brandy Arnold, Iesha (Bryan Jolly) Arnold, Rebecca Fargo, Cortney Fargo, Heather Smedley; grandsons, Billy Smedley, Michael Smedley, Ronald Fargo Jr., Donald Fargo, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Helen Johnson, Frances Harper; brother, Veryl Fargo; daughter, Debra Fargo; son Ronald Fargo Sr., and grandson, Frankie Smedley. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday November 7, 2015 at Bachelor Evangelical Covenant Church in Fountain with Pastors Leo Anderson, Norman Letsinger and Richard Roberts officiating. The family will receive guests for visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Final internment will take place at Tallman Cemetery in Fountain.
