Delores Fae Johnson, age 91 of Bear Lake, passed away Monday, October 26, 2015 at West Shore Medical Center. Deloras was born in Bear Lake on August 4, 1924 the daughter of the late Everton B. and Rosabel V. (Weaver) Anderson. She was a graduate of Dickson High School in Brethren. On September 8, 1945 Deloras married Arthur LeRoy Johnson in Flint, MI and he preceded her in death on November 11, 2003. Delores enjoyed crocheting, working crossword puzzles, watching T.V., and loved to bake for family and friends. She also loved country music. Delores is survived by her 4 children: Gary L. (Sandra) Johnson of Howard, KS, Roger L. Johnson of Bear Lake, Joycelyn Deacons of Bear Lake, Sheila Gruber of Iowa, and daughter in law Alice Johnson of Bear Lake; 9 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, 2 sisters, Lois Shedd of Brethren, and Ardith Sikkema of Mc Bain. She was also preceded in death by her son Arthur A. Johnson, brother, Everton L. Anderson, son-in-law John Gruber and daughter-in-law; Elaine Hall. Memorial Services for Deloras Fae Johnson will be held Friday, October 30, 2015 at Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Manistee with Jim Hancock officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00-5:00 P.M. with the service starting at 5:00 PM. Cremation has taken place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Manistee with final interment to be in Pleasant View Cemetery in Brethren.
