William “Bill” F. Lemere III, age 46, of Ludington, passed away on February 5, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. Bill was born on March 10, 1968 to Virginia (Nickerson) Rose and the late William F. Lemere Jr in Ludington. Bill married his soulmate Debra A. Pomorski in a marriage brought together by God. Bill was an avid hunter who enjoyed nothing more than spending time outdoors with his family. He loved spending time at “The Shack” that was in the family for over 100 years. Bill was a simple man who preferred spending time and sharing moments with the people he loved over collecting things. Bill had a very large heart and would never turn down anyone in need of help. He was a devoted mechanic who taught himself to fix just about anything and sometimes he would just take things apart to put them back together. Bill loved to pass on all of his knowledge to the kids who filled his life. Bill was a loving family man and a devoted grandfather. He would take his grandchildren and other children in his family to do what they wanted to do just to make them happy. Bill is survived by his wife, Debra A. Pomorski of Ludington; children, Bill (Jackie) Lemere IV of Nevada, Samantha (Robbie Beauvais) Lemere of Muskegon, Melissa (Javair) Lemere of Ludington; Grandchildren, Rockne and Axle Lemere, Tommy Beauvais, Anahi Lopez and Nehomi Gutierrez; mother, Virginia Rose; cherished grandmother, Minta Peebles; siblings, Kathy (Tim) Lemere, Ginger (Jack) Malone, Norma (Rick) Hendrickson, Nancy (Brandon) Wheeler, James (Brooke) Rose, Billi Jo Lemere, Kelly Jo (A.J.) King, Garth Lemere; mother-in-law, Sharon “Honey” Pomorski; sister-in-laws, Pam (Andy) Pomorski, Jenny (Scot) Latimer; brother-in-law, Shawn (Courtney) Pomorski; aunts, uncles, multiple cousins, many very special nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews that would warm his heart whenever he saw them. It was said that Uncle Bill was hands down the greatest uncle ever. He was always there when you needed help and never charged you because he took pride in helping family. Also surviving are very dear friends that he had met throughout the years including his shack family. He was preceded in death by his father, William F. Lemere Jr.; grandfather, William F. Lemere Sr.; grandmother James; grandmother Waterman; Aunt Joni and father-in-law, Thomas Pomorski. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday February 10, 2015 at Oak Grove Funeral Home with Jeff McVannel officiating.
